Why community listening is the important first step

Following our official launch earlier this month, Voices of Moore is excited to continue the community listening process that underpins what we stand for. As a grassroots community group, we aim to strengthen democracy by capturing the many voices of the community and identifying key issues and concerns that need to be addressed by our elected representatives.

As part of this community listening process, we are currently holding regular Kitchen Table Conversations. So far, the people of Moore have told us about the many reasons that they love living in our community, as well as the issues people are struggling with and where they are seeking better representation from our political representatives.

We believe that this process will lead to a better understanding of the needs of the people of Moore and a focus beyond the electoral cycle.

We want to hear many and varied voices, so if you are a Moore resident and would like to join a Kitchen Table Conversation, please complete our volunteer form, or come to our volunteer meet and greet on Saturday 4 May 2024. This process starts with people like you standing up and sharing your perspective.
